As we step into the second quarter of 2024, it's time to evaluate the performance of the leading fitness and weight loss applications on the Android platform in Europe. Based on the data provided by Sensor Tower, here's a look at how the top 5 apps have fared in the first quarter of the year.

Mi Fitness (Xiaomi Wear) started the year with a strong download number of around 277K, which saw a gradual decline to approximately 151K by mid-March, before rising again to around 168K towards the quarter's end. Weekly active users exhibited a similar pattern, peaking at nearly 3.2M in the last week of March.

Step Counter - Pedometer by Hitchhike Tech showed a revenue trend with modest fluctuations, ranging from $83 to $191 throughout the quarter. Downloads for the app hovered around the 100K to 160K mark, and weekly active users saw a peak of over 546K in late February.

For the Step Counter - Pedometer by Leap Fitness Group, revenue displayed a wave-like pattern, with a peak at over $1K in late February. Downloads reached a high of approximately 186K during the same period, while active users surged to nearly 4M by the end of March.

EZ Health's Weight Loss for Women: Workout saw a revenue trend that started strong at $1.4K in the second week of January and had slight ups and downs, ending the quarter just under $1K. Downloads showed a decline from around 170K at the start of January to about 88K by March's end. The app's active users peaked at over 560K in late February.

Lastly, Home Workout - No Equipment by Leap Fitness Group showed a strong revenue presence with a steady increase from $1.6K to nearly $2K by the end of March. Downloads saw a spike at nearly 195K in mid-February, while weekly active users remained consistently above 1M throughout the quarter.
